I'll admit that I first danced as a child and 'graduated' as a full fledged square dancer when I was a pre-teen. I loved it then- and guess what? That has not changed over the years. It is still fun, the people still joke around, and the friendships that form are strong & true.
I 'relearned' the basics and mainstream at the end of 2013 and joined the local club GOLD COUNTRY SQUARES. Loving the dancing and being comfortable with the club allowed me to give my talents to them- and they, in turn, gave me an officer position in the club (after being an official member for only 4 days). So without further ado- here is a picture!
Now what may be of more interest to the wonderful visitors to this site is that my sewing talents have been used a great deal already for dancing. The blue outfit is not sewn by me- but the overlay on the skirt is my creation. The red outfit in the next picture is a made from scratch. The shirts too, were created by me- and I have more to show- but that is for later!
