Super Hero for a super teen!
This particular mural was painted in a teen's bedroom. The walls were painted 'superman blue' prior to the mural being painted. It is about 8 feet wide and 5 feet tall. The hero's front fist is the size of a dinner plate. It took 5 hours to complete and is painted in acrylics. Customer cost: $275

This is a detail of a mural in a kitchen. The traditional elements of fruit, vegetables, and flowers are favorites in kitchens. However painting these elements in sepia tones brings elegance to these mundane foods. (4hrs for this portion)

Ocean Play pool deck
This is the pool deck prior to painting. (only 2/3rds will be shown in the progress shots) Pool wall is 8ft tall and 28ft long.

Four hours into the painting the basecoats are on (3) and the ocean color washes are in place.
6 hours later
Most background elements are now in place. By this time there are 40 fish in the distance, 20 or so corals and sponges, and several sea shells and crabs.
Completed mural
This is actually only 2/3rds of the mural. The homeowner gave only the guideline of " We would like it to be underwater and a manatee in it." They were surprised and delighted that the wall had so much detail in it. I painted it over 6 days while 'house-sitting'. Normally I don't paint without having the owners in close contact, but I had house-sat several times for them and felt comfortable with their tastes. Total cost $2675 plus $220 in latex gloss exterior paint (the home owners chose to buy the paint themselves).
