Sometimes one must create for one's own house. I have a wonderful Quilt shop in town that has the greatest fabrics. The Common Thread is one of the best small business fabric stores I have ever gone into. One of my most favorite things to do when I pick up some of my usual supplies is to buy a scrap bag. You get to fill up a sandwich bag with scraps from all the classes that are held there.
The quilt up here really has no pattern except for the bows and is made from scrap bag fabrics. Only the backing and the plain black fabric is out of my own stash of fabric. I doodle quilted it on my machine and now I'm up to the last step- the binding.
